We invite all bars and restaurants to participate in the Spicy Pintxos and Patatas Bravas championship, where the public will vote for their favorites.
Rules of the “Spicy Pintxos” Contest
- The creation of the pintxo is free, either cold, hot, with any level of spiciness, etc. There are no limits to creativity.
- The only condition is that it must include a spicy flavor – mild, medium or very hot – through the use of chili peppers, hot powder or hot sauces. If you need any kind of supply, please contact us (you will find the contact information in the footer/footer).
- The pintxos must be available in the establishments during the whole month of May.
- Visitors to your establishment will be able to vote easily with their cell phone, either by scanning a QR code, visiting a web page or via Instagram. This will give a good boost to the presence of your local on social networks.
- At the end of May, the 3 best rated pintxos will compete in the live final on June 9th at the festival.
Shortly after your registration as a participant you will receive publicity material, such as posters and flyers.
Rules of the “Patatas Bravas” contest
- 20 bars will compete for the title of the best patatas bravas in the region, offering a showcase of local culinary ingenuity and passion for spicy food.
- It will take place during the Ardor Fest (June 8 and 9). A gastronomic jury will evaluate the participating patatas bravas during that weekend and select the best ones based on their quality, balance of flavor and level of spiciness.
- The creation of the patatas bravas is free, being able to choose any level of spiciness.
- The first 20 bars to register will be eligible to participate.
